A 37th dental clinic. A new plumbing and restoration services investment.
Q3 was a quarter of tangible progress for Newlook Capital, with a strong pipeline of acquisition opportunities ahead. Across two distinct sectors, our focus remains on businesses that provide services people and communities rely on.
We’re pleased to share the quarter’s milestones, the acquisition pipelines for our Dental Fund and IISF III, and a glimpse at what we’re working on next.
In August, Dentalook completed an investment in a dental practice in Mississauga, Ontario, bringing the platform to 37 clinics across Canada. Located near Toronto, Mississauga offers a large and growing population and is a strong fit for Dentalook’s continued expansion.
This addition marks another step in building a national dental platform centred on providing high-quality care to Canadian patients.
We are also working toward an investment in a 38th clinic and look forward to sharing those details soon. Beyond this investment, Dentalook’s acquisition pipeline exceeds $20 million, supporting continued expansion across Canada.
Newlook Capital Industrial & Infrastructure Services Fund III (IISF III) recently completed a strategic equity investment in a Texas-based plumbing and restoration services business.
The company provides emergency restoration, environmental mitigation, and specialized plumbing services, primarily to residential customers. Its work is supported by longstanding agreements with major home warranty and insurance providers.
The founders will retain a significant ownership stake and work alongside Newlook as the business pursues growth in Texas and neighbouring markets. The partnership brings together their operating experience and established customer relationships with Newlook’s capital and strategic resources.
With a $40 million acquisition pipeline, IISF III is focused on building scale and strengthening its portfolio through investments in essential service businesses.
Q3 brought opportunities to learn, celebrate and connect across Newlook Capital.
Our third annual Finance Leadership Summit brought together finance and accounting teams from our portfolio companies around the theme “Are You Ready? Building Capacity for Future Growth.” Discussions explored streamlining workflows and using AI and automation to support acquisitions, new services and scale. Time in Niagara-on-the-Lake also included a Ravine Vineyard tour and tasting, a charcuterie board challenge and fireworks at Niagara Falls.
We also celebrated an important institutional capital raising milestone, recognising the work and relationships behind that achievement.
Rounding out the quarter, Kyle Sinden, National Business Development Manager, participated in the 15th Annual Freed Charity Golf Classic, hosted by Freed Hotels & Resorts at Muskoka Bay Resort in support of Sinai Health Foundation.
Thank you for following Newlook Capital’s progress. Whether you’re an advisor keeping clients informed or an investor following the businesses behind your investment, we appreciate the opportunity to keep you updated.
