Hosted at The Valley Hotel in Homewood, the Summit brought together our portfolio company executives and the Newlook Capital team to align on performance, growth, and long-term value creation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>A Warm Southern Welcome<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>The Summit opened with a reception hosted by <a href=\"https:\/\/lwsutilities.com\/\">Living Water Utilities<\/a>, who extended an incredible welcome to Birmingham. Guests enjoyed authentic southern BBQ from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jimnnicks.com\/\">Jim \u2018N Nick\u2019s<\/a>, setting the tone for an engaging and collaborative week ahead. The evening was filled with meaningful conversations and a sense of shared purpose that carried through the entire event.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>Strategy, Performance, and Market Insight<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>The following morning, Newlook\u2019s leadership team shared firm-wide updates, including a strategic outlook and IISF III performance review. <b>Elroy Gust (CEO)<\/b>,<b>Abbas Osman (CIO, Partner)<\/b>, and <\/span><b>Tony (CFO, Partner)<\/b> provided a detailed look at portfolio performance and discussed Newlook\u2019s continued focus on disciplined growth and operational excellence heading into 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Further sessions included an update from <b>Danielle<\/b>and <b>Luke<\/b> on the 2025 Finance Leadership Summit, as well as a discussion on the <b>state of the capital markets<\/b> led by <b>Elroy<\/b> and <b>Abbas<\/b>.
