He was responsible for the group\u2019s global investment portfolio that stretches across different asset classes and industries \u2013 mainly industrial, services, FMCG, aviation, hospitality, real estate and financial services. In his 15+ year career, he has managed a team of professionals covering private equity funds, direct investments, public equities, M&amp;A and real estate. Gavin then founded a Merchant Banking firm focused on identifying and developing strategic metals for B.R.I.C. Countries and had offices in Australia, China and Africa. In the last 10 years, he has founded, raised substantial capital and sold several entities operating in Africa, Asia and North America. Gavin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the capital markets, asset management, mergers, and acquisitions to the Newlook Team. Currently, as the Manager of Industrial Fund investments at Newlook Capital, Mike leads the acquisition process for all new deal opportunities in the Industrial Group. Mike brings over seven years of investment experience and expertise at Newlook, and is a CFA charter holder, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the team. She has experience in several industries including: private equity, construction, manufacturing and real estate. Sonam holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. He was a team captain of the 5-time defending National Champion Guelph Gryphons track and field team as well as a member of the 2015 Yates cup winning Guelph Gryphon football team.
